Mark is a talented QB who will have a great career, and frankly the hottest QB in the NFL today.
Love,
J
PS It is very possible that this bracket was rigged from the beginning.
I LOVE the NFL, and yes I am a girl!

The talk continues! Fans hope that the two sides will get together and end the lock out. There is very little news about anything other than talk.
Dear NFL....I am so bored of this, please play the game!
I am thinking that I am going to have to create my own football fun. In the works are the best (looking ) quarterback ranking by team and other equally awesome things.

J

So the draft happened and Commissioner Roger Goodell was booed quite a bit. Things are going with the NFL, going well I am not so sure but they are going.
Young men were chosen to join teams that may not even play.
There is so much unknown......all I know is that I want Football.
Also I am supremely jealous of my dad who has satellite radio, so isn't forced to listen to the most IQ damaging sports talk show on the radio today.
I want football! Thank you!
Love,
J

My inablility to put words on this blog is sad. I love football and this season has been so very interesing. Regardless of what occurs with the collective barganing agreement, 2011 will be my year to blog about the ball!
Also, my picks in the playoffs sucked! I am looking forward to seeing the Sanchize and Big Ben fight it out this weekend. Although I do believe that Mark Sanchez is probably the best looking player in the league, I don't have a clear winner for this one. In the other game I am pulling for the Pack.

I don't like college football, even when I was in college I didn't go to games. I would rather sleep while my noisy neighbors were gone.
Today I am watching college football (and doing laundry), Texas vs Oklahoma. For some reason I am fascinate by Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow. These three guys seem like stand up fellows. I don't know for sure but that is what I choose to believe.
When Tebow was injured I searched the internet constantly for updates on his condition. I watched and rewatched him going down, and being carted off the field throwing up. I was relieved to read that he would be alright.
Today a team from city I love (Austin) headed out to face their rivals, and come out victorious as the end result would have it (the game just ended Oklahoma 13, Texas 16).
Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford are hugging as I type. I don't know what it is, I adore these 3 guys.
I was watching when Bradford hit the ground, driving his freshly healed broken shoulder into the ground. He didn't play again after that. As the mother of a young athletic boy who is built for football I realized in that moment why I don't watch college football.
However I do watch NFL, where men are paid to play the game. If they get hurt it was in the commission of earning a paycheck.
I love the NY Giants and I love Jeremy Shockey, which makes tomorrows game something that I am looking forward to with much anticipation.
When Shockey broke his leg on Dec. 16th 2007 I was heartbroken. After that things seemed to spiral down for the man. His replacement the amazing Kevin Boss did a great job proving he deserved a starting Tight End position. That year the Giants won the Superbowl. Shock was there, but only in body. In his heart he was already gone.
He was traded to the New Orleans Saints. His first season with the Saints was plagued with injury. This year however is appears that Shock has done some growing up and he is back looking better than ever. His attitude has either changed, or he has learned to keep his mouth shut (although I must admit I adore his lisp). In New Orleans is appears that Jeremy has found his place, and with Drew Brees as your QB things are good.
Tomorrow Shock meets his old team. He is keeping a low profile, and I for one can not wait.
He has said that this is not a grudge match for him, and I believe him. If it had been last year maybe, but after a year in a new place he seems much more settled.
I love Eli and the Giants, and I am rooting for them to win as I always do. However I certainly hope that the Saints do all they can, in particular Shockey.

Finally!!!
I know, I know the preseaon is nothing like the regular season. Sure there are plenty of hot bods, sweat and all the other things I love about football. However I know all my favorite players won't be on the field.
Whatever! Football is football and I am so there!
Hall of Fame Game kicks off my favorite season, tomorrow. I hope to see you there.
Love,
J

I feel like draft day is the first day of the new season. Obviously there is a lull from April to August (when pre-season starts), but the buzz has begun!!!!!!
I am so ready to see what the Giants do today.

I started last season with high hopes. I would watch my beloved Giants, and I would blog like mad!
One out of two ain't bad. I watched EVERY Giant's game. I LOVE the NFL Sunday Ticket!!
However I didn't blog at all, which sucks, because last season there was much to blog about. Plaxico anyone? Tom Brady who? The Brett Farve situation. The hope (and I know I wasn't the only one) of a SUPER MANNING BOWL!!!
However I didn't blog and much of that stuff is in the past, so I shall soldier on.
The draft is coming.................I can't WAIT.
Love,
J

I have managed to amaze two different people today. Both have been completely baffled by the fact that I can not wait for the draft this Saturday. I was asked how I could even be looking forward to something so boring when I won't watch baseball on tv for just that reason.
Here is my answer:
I love football. I can't wait for the season to start. The draft is the very first ripple in ocean of awesomeness that is the NFL season. According to giants.com there are 134 days until kickoff on Sept 4th (what an awesome birthday present for me!). Although August beings sweltering weather and PRESEASON I don't even have to wait that long!

J

I think I have earned a new nickname. Yep that is me, slacker blogger.
I had this beautiful blog about the Giants victory over the Packers. Where is this amazing blog you may ask.........well I deleted it. Why you may ask...........because the victory is moot, a greater more important victory has occurred that has eclipsed that win.
Yes I am talking about the SUPER BOWL. A fabulous hard fought back and forth game that caused me and a number of other Giants fans racing pulses and clenched fists/jaws/stomachs.
Eli Manning was fantastic. The D line worked harder than ever, and Shockey was in the stands. Which was the only sore point for me ( and Shockey I am pretty sure).
Great Job New York Giants.
When I finally realized that I enjoyed watching football, and I picked the Giants as my team, I made an excellent choice.
Love,
J

What a fantastic game!
I skipped out on work and arrived home after the first touchdown. The Giants are one game closer, next stop the Pack!
Good Luck Boys!!

One step closer! Good Job Giants. 24-14 victory over Jeff Garcia (who I adore) and the rest of the Tampa Bay Bucs.
I once again "watched" the game on-line while at work. This time I paired it with the message board at the Giant's home page. It was nice to see other fans go through the amazing array of emotions that I do.
Thor, you are very missed!

In October of this year I started a new job, a job I love but a job with one major drawback.
I work on Sunday.
See the problem?
I have been forced to "watch" the Giants over this last season by clicking the refresh button on my computer...........very unsatisfactory!
I was so excited to watch the Skins game on the 16th, I walked in the door at kick off. I was happily yelling at the screen when Amani Toomer rolled onto Jeremy Shockey's legs. I saw Shock go down and not get up. I knew it was bad, and I was right.
The game was lost, Jeremy's x-rays were flashed, broken left fibula and I went to bed an unhappy Giants fan, as visions of my favorite player gracing the IR list danced in my head.
I missed the win over the Bills on the 23rd, but I was thrilled it happened.
Now I am anticipating the last game of the regular season, as many other football fans are. I hope with all of my heart that the Giants snatch a perfect 16-0 season from the smug Tom Brady and his creepy coach. Although I know it is a long shot.
Good luck Boys, you know I will be rooting for you all the way!
As for you Jeremy, who has fallen off the radar, .....I hope the surgery went well and I hope your recovery goes perfectly. You are very much missed.
Love,
J

Last Monday I was working, so I didn't get to see much of the game. I caught just the last few minutes of the Bills/Cowboys game. 7 seconds from the end I confidently walked away from the television know that in my heart that the banged up Bills had it in the bag.
What the hell happened???
I can't wait to see next Mondays matchup Giants and Falcons in Atlanta.

J
